CONSULTATIONS FOR REDUCING THE APPEARANCE OF WRINKLES

Every face is special and will have different expressions, line patterns and wrinkle severity. The severity of wrinkles depends on a multitude of factors including your sex, your muscle strength, your skin quality, your smoking status, your degree of exposure to UV light over your lifetime and your genetics. A consultation for reducing the appearance of wrinkles will assess your own unique features and a bespoke plan will be designed.

Cosmetic clinics in Australia are prohibited by law to advertise:

- the brand names of any medicines that may be used in a treatment

- the pricing of any medicines that may be used in a treatment

- explicit treatments, areas of concern or techniques that may be used

- before and after images that utilise medicines in the treatment

It's also illegal to advertise the brand of any products to reduce the appearance of wrinkles

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF REDUCING WRINKLES?

In your consultation all of your features will be examined and discussed. But many patients are commonly concerned with wrinkles and expressions of the following areas:

  • the frown or 'glabella' area (the lines between the eyebrows when we look angry)

  • the forehead area (the horizontal lines seen when we raise our eyebrows)

  • the 'crow's feet' areas (the lines around the eyes when we smile)
