CONSULTATIONS FOR FACIAL EXPRESSIONS

Cosmetic clinics in Australia are prohibited by law to advertise or market the brand names of any medicines.

This also includes not being allowed to advertise the brands of any products to modify facial expressions.

Dr Jake is an international trainer and lecturer in these treatments. Every patient will have different facial expressions, line patterns and severity. The severity depends on a multitude of factors including your sex, your muscle strength, your skin quality, your smoking status and your degree of exposure to UV light over your lifetime. A consultation for facial expressions will assess your own unique features and a bespoke plan will be designed for you.

WHAT CAN BE IMPROVED?

Patients are most commonly concerned with facial lines and expressions of the following areas:

  • the frown or 'glabella' area (the lines between the eyebrows when we look angry)

  • the forehead area (the horizontal lines seen when we raise our eyebrows)

  • the 'crow's feet' areas (the lines around the eyes when we smile)

Full face indications

The most common patient concerns are the frown, forehead and 'crow's feet' areas. But other facial expressions will be examined during your consultation for the most holistic results.

25 years of safety data

These are the most common non-surgical procedure globally and have a  verywell documented safety profile.

Expected longevity

Outcomes will last for 3-4 months on average. Therefore most patients will attend 3 or 4 consultations per year to achieve their goals.

DOWNTIME & AFTERCARE

  • After your first consultation has been performed, consultations are quick and with minimal downtime.

  • You'll experience some mild redness immediately after. This is self-limiting and will resolve on it's own after 30 or so minutes.

  • As with any non-surgical intervention that utilises needles, bruising is a possible temporary outcome. In Dr Jake's hands this is fairly uncommon but bruises are most common around the eyes. They can hidden with makeup the follow day if necessary.
