GUMMY SMILES

Our smile is an obvious window to how we feel. Unfortunately for some people, their normal anatomy can be less flattering and this can have a devastating effect on their confidence and in turn, on how people perceived them.

Simply put, a gummy smile is caused by an over-active upper lip muscles. When they pull upwards to smile, too much exposed gum tissue is perceived to be less attractive. Some dentists even treat this with extremely costly surgery. Nowadays, we can easily treat the look with just two quick injections to gently and temporarily weaken the upper lip muscle and improve your smile.
